I tackled the seasonal fabrics bin this weekend. Made 18 Christmas stockings and sorted and cleaned up the bin. These will be used for Adopt-a-Family at work and other charity projects. I also finally got back to working on a rag rug and have about 20 rows left to finish it so it can be ready for a upcoming birthday present.

I dug in the selvage bin and made a couple of trash can bags...one for work the other to give away. Will try to get pics taken to post later.

Welcome LindaJane. Those pigs are so cute and 18 stockings WOW. Thanks for the picture happylab. They're making me drool!
I have completed one top using scraps and have been rooting around in my fabric to try to find backing for it. Since it's from scraps, the back will be as well I guess since I can't find a color I like that's big enough. Need to sew other blocks together for another quilt top and find backing for that one as well.
Should be a nice amount for stash going for this two projects providing I stay strong and use my stash.

I dug the largest color scrap bag out...whacking away at it making mini's, plus 2 1/2" sq pieces, and rectangles for future bucket list quilts.

Today...the color purple.

It's always sad when I use up the very last of a fabric. I just had 3 yards of green 30 inches wide and I needed 4 strips of 7 1/2 inch border. There might be a little dab left, but nothing to write home about.

It's OK, Battle Axe. They are still manufacturing plenty of fabric. You'll always find more of your favorites, or new favorites. To me, it just feels good to get it out of my stash!!!

Just spent $60 on fabric at the LQS. Up here in the mountains, there's not a lot of choice. It's for my current project. And definitely have shopped the stash. It's in the wash, so I've got a break.

Time flies! I can't believe that we are in the last official week of the challenge, which brings me to another topic. I have had a few things going on in my real life (nothing bad!) that have been taking up a lot of time, so I haven't been posting and so have not been a very good hostess for this thread. Since the additional activities will continue, I would like to pass the baton for hosting the 2019 challenge to someone else who's more active. If you are interested, please send me a PM!

PaperPrincess, thank you for allowing me to follow this thread since I joined the board, in February. Y'all have been a great encourage to me in quilting only from my stash. Except for buying 2 sheets (one was an accident) I hadn't bought any fabric at all!! And, I've made and donated several dozens of baby and kids quilts. But, I still have an unorganized truck load of stash!! No joke. I haven't made much of a dent in the mess!

So, please, pretty please, let's keep it going into next year! Thank you, PaperPrincess, I think you did a great job!!

You've been a great hostess, Paperprincess... I know, with everyone's encouragement, I did not spend as much money on fabric as I have in the past and, for the most part, only purchased when nothing in my stash would do or with an exemption. I flubbed up a couple of times but I'm pretty proud of myself...

Thank you for hosting this year's moratorium!!! Congratulations to all the successes I've watched over the past year!! You guys have been super committed to your goals! You should all be proud of yourselves!!
