A great start...(umm excuse me Scout, I want to see)
Thanks for the link jmoore

Cats want to be right in the center of your vision, it's why some of them jump on keyboards or mine likes to stand on my chest when I'm trying to watch tv in bed! Isn't it amazing though how they leave you alone for hours until you lay out a project on something they can get on?? Clever beasts.

Between the hangover caused by the Bonnie Hunter project and now Covid, I haven't been doing anything much with my fabric. I've straightened up the area/stash a bit here and there. Futzed about... mostly I have been killing dragons and such in my online fantasy game. Now that I have my dog and hubby food set in, I'm feeling better about the situation here and I think ready to start sewing again.

Still haven't started it, I did reject some previously selected fabric, but I printed out clue 3 for the Canadian Row by Row mystery:

Luna, my Snowshoe, thinks the cutting table belongs to her. Oddly enough, she walked around a finished quilt on the floor for pictures. Mickey is still learning manners. He jumped five feet and landed on my arm this morning. Doesn't he know I have bleeding tendencies? The last border goes on the Nightmare Before Christmas quilt today. It's very dark in color for a baby, but what is, is.

I heard of a couple of quarantine mysteries going on. One is by laundry basket quilts and started today on Edyta Sitar's blog. I believe she is doing a block a day. Then on Mar. 28 Quilted Twins is starting one on their Facebook page, inspired by a castle in Poland. I'm not sure what sort of schedule they are following.

Everyone seems to be getting a lot done from their stash. Finished my place mats today with "help" from one of my feline assistants who reminded me that thread spools should be put away so they wouldn't be on the floor under the sewing table in the furthest corner

jmoore, WMUTech thank you for the link for Arkansas Crossroads. Really like the pattern, I see this on my "to make" list.

I finished a year old UFO today. This was a project from my personal FQ challenge, which ended with 12 different projects before I cut up the balance. I used 5 yards of Kona white from stash and 6 yards of backing from a bolt on hand. I posted a pic on UFO thread, if interested.

WMUTeach: Nice picture of Scout and your pretty blocks.

Iceblossom: Thanks for the link. I enjoyed looking at the 3 rows.

joes’smom: 2 more to add to your list: Pat Sloan will be doing a block tomorrow, I believe, and Gudrun Erla has a Quarantine Along on Sunday.

tohkatz68: Nice placemats.

Teen: I look forward to seeing your rare UFO on that thread.

Happy Quilting Day everyone!
Well I fell off the wagon and ordered a big whopper of an order. 9 yards to be exact. No excuses - I'm calling it my 'just cuz' purchase. Back on the wagon and sewing on..

Well, I have fallen off the wagon and rolled so far that I'm not sure I can find it without a roadmap. No point in detailing my purchases, suffice it to say that various online businesses should be secure in their financial situation right now. I will blame it on the corona virus and the fact that I now have more money to spend since our bus trip has been cancelled. I should be able to come up with new projects for the next 10 years without having to shop again. LOL I have several projects in various stages of completion, so I shouldn't get bored any time soon. DS is coming over today to do some yardwork for me since he is trying to keep busy and stay away from people. So I will probably be outside directing him to the jobs needed doing.

Grann of 6: I too have gotten lost from the herd. I haven’t “officially” joined this group but have been edging closer. Until now. This last three weeks has been lethal to my resolve. I have added some really cute fabric to my stash by shopping sales online. And two more packages will be arriving next week. (Hanging my head in shame while looking foreword to petting my new stuff). I can only put out the excuse that staying in my home-alone- is challenging. At this point I am thinking I’ll make a list of constructive things to do each day so I can actually check off some things (I’ve always hated lists!), and I’ll keep reading posts in this thread to encourage me. Take care everybody!
