Thank you, everyone. I'm going to a 2-BR from a 3-BR, so I wont have a true dedicated sewing space. But with the large back yard, I might get a pre-fab out-building for a sewing space. That way, the cats wont be able to shed on everything g as I sew.

Conchalea, It will all be so wonderful to get settled down again! Quilters and cats it's a problem we all have. My sewing room is the smallest bedroom and the door is always shut when I'm not in it. So much that when we were getting our house refinanced, my husband completely forgot that indeed we are a 3 and not a 2-bedroom house! My cat is smart enough, in addition to being old and fat enough that when I put the doggy door up when I'm in there he doesn't jump over. But in the rest of my house, pet hair is definitely an issue.

I picked up Bernie from the repair shop last night, we are going to spend some time today getting reset up and getting reacquainted today. With tax the repairs/cleaning came out to $250, so still less than the $350 I had expected and budgeted. But on the same trip as picking up Bernie, my car (who doesn't have a name other than Buick) had to go to its own shop. It's not holding a charge, I'm hoping it's something basic like an alternator and not a weird electrical problem...

I have the Bunny Star top to put together and then am thinking of maybe some paper piecing...

2 quilt tops done and ready for my church group to finish and donate.

The first one is Hope, a quarantine quilt along 2 through GE designs.

The 2nd one is Unity by Bonnie Hunter. It was a stay-at-home mystery. I only did 5 of the clues because adding another clue would have made it too large for my church group. Plus, I like borders. Lol!

Oops! Only one picture will post. This is Unity.

Very nice tops both, Retiredteacher. While the Bonnie Hunter one is fabulous, I find myself drawn to Hope.

Great tops, Retiredteacher! I like the how the green draws your eye to the geometric shapes.

Thanks for the compliments. I like the Hope quilt best too. I am going to do Elvira by GE Designs in Christmas colors. That was her first Quarantine Quilt Along.

First, I must put away the red and blue scraps from Unity. I’m trying to keep from just throwing them in their color bin. Instead, I am sorting the scraps by size and putting them in their strip size bag which is by color. That way I don’t need to trim now as I just do a quick measurement. Some I’m cutting into square sizes that I like or strips. Just how the piece ‘speaks’ to me. (Or my mood at organizing them at that moment.). Lol!
