Belfrybat - hope you get to feeling better. This year seems to be real bad for nasty stuff going around.

I've got mine all assembled. got on a role and just kept going with it. I really like how it turned out, but can't get the picture to upload, will have to try later when I'm on the other computer that has the pictures on it.

here it is, and hopefully there are no fabric repeats. Not sure with the neutrals though . . .

Oh! That's a cutie! Bright and cheerful. Very nice! Are you going to add a border?

I think it would look good with a dark border to frame it. I'll have to addition some colors, but am leaning towards either a dark red or dark blue. though orange tying into the corners might look nice. . . I'll wait until more get finished and then look around at what others have done for ideas.

Cathy - I really like your controlled scrappy rendition. I agree that a darkish border would frame it nicely. When mine is done I'll probably use a narrow border as well. Or I might just put on a 1" neutral border to preserve the points and then wide binding in a contrasting colour. I hope to get my four corners all done today since the coughing is subsiding enough for me to sew.

I have the border on. I plan on binding with a navy solid fabric. Now it goes into the grown stack of floppies waiting to be quilted. The background color of the border is Navy, and it reads way more "Navy" with color than it does in the picture.

That’s a very pretty quilt top, Macybaby.

I have the directions saved but I want to get a few WIP to the floppy stage so they can be donated to be finished.

Laying on your bed, it looks so big! I didn't think it seemed so big from seeing the directions. Looks nice! Great job!
