Tracy Delegal--What are you up to? Love to see an experiment. If you are stuck for a topic we were expressing freedom this month. Should get a couple of cool projects showing here soon.

Remember it does not have to be fancy or finished or big. Small and incomplete and an experiment is fine in THIS little enclave of oddballs.

i have misplaced my camera in the clutter i call home. when i find it i will share my newest mug hug, perfect for teatime!

Default scarves

I have a question for this group. My (sort of job) is dyeing bamboo
scarves and they get shipped to a Seattle store and sell there
Right now I am trying as many surface design techniques that will handle the washing machine. I currently don't have time to make art quilts but my scarves have become my form of expression. Would you mind if I posted the best of them here and explain the technique I used? Judy

We have been discussing how to find the challenge threads on this forum for a while. There are drawbacks and advantages to the many options we have talked over. But lo and behold I think the 'powers of the forum' already created a good solution to make life easier and more fun for us all.

There is a search thread tool up in the right hand corner of the thread feed (See it there in the grab I posted with this?) You can search for posts by date. So want that theme of last june? Look up 'June Challenge 2012' . You may get a few hits but not many so the post you want is easy to find.

Also there is an option to arrange the listings on the forum under the 'display' menu and this configuration shown in the grab I am posting with this note is the last choice on that menu. . See how easy it is to find a discussion without scrolling back through the pages??

I though we might want to try these solutions out this month and see if they work for us?

i'm willing to try the new grab solution. and i'd also like to see the scarves and hear about the techniques. they won't let us buy and sell things in this part of the forum, but i'd love to see what you've been up to, judy!
i just opened up the 'grab' and there we were! woo hoo, suzi! slick!!

I think it would probably be best to write about the techniques I'm trying to be written on my blot so there wouldn't ne any conflict of interest. I think that will be best.

Can you post a link when you try new techniques so we can go see?
