Yes, me too. I was happily surprised at how much fun they are!

It's really having the perspectives of the other people that make it enjoyable for me -- thanks again to all who participated in the discussions even if no quilts were produced or even ever planned....

It is hard for me to work in someone else's style. This top is one I would never see and want to make, but I have such a good time with all of you and someone always loves the finished project

Iceblossom, I think you may have hit on what has made this thread call to me almost daily since last November - it's been so much fun witnessing other people's processes from fabric selection to the final product. I'm not there yet, but I can see how much fun it must have been to be actually doing this with so many awesome people and having a support network built in - so maybe one day!

I've finished my A blocks and am happy with them. Here are a few, and how they look on the wall. My decision to make the middle square of the B block aqua definitely gives the quilt an aqua glow, but I'm not sure I like the gap it makes in the grid. On to the setting units!

I'm sending mine off today. This was so much fun. Thanks to everyone. You all helped me along the way!

An update on my niece I made the rush rush quilt for- she ended up doing very well and is recovering nicely. She loves her quilt and I love her!!
