re: posting photos, I have yet to find the paperclip, but at the bottom of the page is the quick reply box, just below that is a go advanced button. that brings up the reply box with Manage Attachments button which when clicked on a pop up box appears to select our photos. you have to pull the edge of the box way right though to see the Upload button... weird.

you have to reupload your avatars too, via the UserCP upper left. The option is in the list that then comes up on the left.

I am wondering if this is all the green we will use. Has anyone already cut all the pieces needed for Clue 6 from your green (or substitution fabric)? I only have 1 1/4 yd of the green I want to use but I don't know if that will be enough. Can't locate any more online. Help please.

AlvaStitcher, I've cut all of my green, but I did scrappy so I don't know how much I used. IIRC, I got about 50 pairs of wings from 2 WOF pairs of strips (4 strips total).

Default Clue 4 done

Finally finished clue 4. Clue 5 is done and now to start clue 6. New format is not very user friendly.

Happy New Year, everyone!
I still need to sew and cut my clue 5 then on to 6.
My 5's are all set. Just need to stitch & cut them and I can move on.
I'm doing the magic 8 method. Not sure if that was a good idea though.
This new site is weird!!!

Alva, I looked at the original fabric requirements and she said 1.5 yards of the green/constant. If that is what you started with measure what you have left, and we'll all know if we are finished with that!

I've finished clue #6 (1/3 size) dont hate me! I did have a lot of unstitching to do first, youtube was working so I watched 4 Dad's Army episodes while doing that part.

ok, I took a bullet for the group and went and read through the facebook group. if making the whole quilt we've apparently used 2/3 of the green/constant. So I'm guessing there will be one more use somewhere. Probably where I unstitched all those components

there are also images o how many spools of thread quilters have emptied this year. I have a vase where I've been throwing mine or 2019, I need to count them. The closest guess will get a treat in the mail... one of my favorite tools this year.

Hmm, not sure why but I can only do an eighth of a seam rather than a scant quarter to get mine to come out. I am finding it tedious so am thinking about doing the 4 at a time method for clue 6. Will have to save those other units that are cut already for something else.

Sandra, when you cut your fabric is your measuring line On the fabric or just off? Having the line On the fabric made all the difference in the world for me. I'm sorry your are having disappointing results.
