Cute!
Good for you ... one project almost done, and to boot, a new Halloween decoration.

............... as for your DHs request?
Though, because he's so good to you ... how can you say no?

Ok I finally got caught up reading this thread. Hate it when I get so far behind everyone. lol. First time back to QB in a long time. Life caught me. Lost my son to lymphoma and now am a transplanted Texan to Oklahoma and learning to live alone. Life is very interesting and challenging. The Lord is always with us <This I have experienced in a big way this past year.!!!! I am building my fabrics to join u in this one. Dont know yet just what I will do yet but it will come. If anyone is on here that remembers me. I do needleturn applique and make scenic quilts and relly like old barns . So maybe it will be something to do with owls. How does that sound. Keep all those pics coming and I will try to learn how to post also. More later. Jo

Jenniky - very cute. Hubby can always keep his headless horseman in whatever area of the house he calls his own.

Welcome back Jolo - so sorry to hear about your loss. It is good that you seem to be able to pick yourself up and carry on through the grief. So many people can't. I hope that a stash and the QB help you move forward.

Owls sound wonderful. You could even incorporate a barn, a barn cat, mice. All sorts of fun things. Whatever gets those creative juices flowing.

Looking forward to hearing, and seeing, more from you.

Yes, Franky's top is complete in time to hang for Halloween 2012. Quit grinning QuiltE. It is wider than 44" so I have a few ideas for the quilt backing, all of which will take a little time.

Franky's border is a continuation of the burgundy spider sashing fabric and the outer border is black fabric with gold spider webs. Still, no spider web fabric has been used twice.

**wipes SMILE off face**
as she mutters .... Told yaaaaa sooooo!!!!

*giggles*

Look at how charming he is!! Well Done, Indeed!!!!!
You've done a great job and look at how well the full out scrappy-spidey look has come together.
BTW How many different fabrics have you used?

Do tell .. what are the ideas for his backing?
I happen to know a source for purple with black spider webs that would be good for a backing!!

Franky and I thank you. A total of 53 different fabrics so far, including 37 different spider fabrics. I still have 14 spider fabrics that have not been used, yet.

I have a great, multi-coloured spider fabric for the backing. It appears that multiple spider fabrics will be used on the backing but that is all I am going to say.
