Default Super bowl 2023

Any Super bowl quilt alongs? I read of one with fabric requirements coming out today but can't find now.

Good question! I see this one listed https://www.thequiltersbolt.com/new-products-1. But some of their kits are sold out, and some aren’t for the Super Bowl.

I''m just doing my own Super Bowl quilt along. Sevral kits are grumbling since they haven't seen the light of day for weeks. Play off start tomorrow. Maybe I'll start sewing tomorrow.

I love football!! Hubby's team is in the playoffs, so we will be watching. Have plenty of applique and handwork lined up to do while watching.

I have seen a few sew alongs for Super Bowl but can't remember exactly who are doing them. I will post if I find them again. I don't have a sport bone in my body so I'll be sewing and leaving the hoopla to the fans. Husband use to go all out with a cookout and family over to watch now he will fall asleep watching it before half time. LOL

Years ago I had a Super Bowl party. Lots of good food.
Wives had fun time visiting and playing games in the kitchen.
Husbands were grumpy because they weren’t in their own chairs and not in control of a remote.
Not attempting that again.

Heather has hosted a special Virtual Quilting time, I think last year at least on the Sunday or weekend of the Superbowl. Heather, what do you think?

SuperBowl is for watching - don't want to watch the best commercials!

Homespun Hearth has a Super Bowl mystery. Sign up & you get the fabric info on the 8th. They also offer a fabric kit. It is a 1 day mystery & usually fun & not complicated.
