If working with PMs you can't send images, can you?
We exchanged email addresses. That way, we can send images as well as converse...

I don't know whether anyone is still looking for a 'mentor/mom' but I would love to help. I don't have a daughter in real life and would love one in cyberspace (or a son???). I have been quilting for 40+ years and have done just about every different kind of other needlework there is. I'm not great at FMQ but am working at it. I do applique, machine & hand, PP, Cotton Theory (I think it's much like Fun & Done), and both machine and hand quilting, athough my hand quilting is not up to Alex Anderson standards. I'm not great at doing things on the computer. I have taken lots of classes and love to share what I have learned. I have a Janome 4000 and a Pfaff Creative Vision that I am still learning how to use. Is there still someone out there waiting to be adopted and would like me for their 'Mom'? I would be honored.

You can be my quilting mom:) I am a new quilter and I am working on a baby quilt for my daughter (not expecting yet) but I thought if I started now, I could have one or 2 done by the time she is. The quilt I am working on now is a special project. My mother loved to imbroider. She started a project for me several years ago and then her eyes got too bad to finish the blocks. She passed away 2 years ago and I found the blocks when we were sorting out her things. I finished embroidering the last 2 blocks and decided to turn them into a baby quilt for my daughter (she was very close to her grandma). I finished putting the top together, hand quilter around the embroidered hearts but now I'm not real sure how to finish the outer edges. I sure need a mom right now! If you choose to take me on, you can email me directly at [email protected]. Sincerely, Pamala
