"I'm hoping to add the Symphony next year and dedicate my Esante to strictly an embroidery machine. I wouldn't trade it for the world but there's some nice new features on the Symphony that my older Esante doesn't have." I definitely have my eye on the Symphony, its sitting at the top of my list.
"Hope I've cleared up any worries about glue sticks and the computerized machines. But, liquid glue, I can't speak to that." Everything you said regarding the glue and the computerized machine makes great sense, thanks.

Ladies, Looks like from the postings there were a lot of busy machines this weekend. Lots of great discussion an sharing (SEW IMPORTANT)
Dulub- When ever I hear talk of spending a lot of time pulling stitches on several squares it makes me think of my personal progress in having more patience and enjoying the "Journey of Quilting"
I can remember the days when I would get so mad and frustrated when I had to spend anytime removing stitches (frogging). Now it just seems like part of the process and I find I'm actually very calm and nonchalant as I remove the erred stitches. What does that mean??? LOL
Somewhere along the line I stopped being in a hurry to get things done and I'm just enjoying the process.
VickiM - Awesome job in sharing your row attaching steps with us. What great results I'm going to try the hand basting today as I put the rows of "MY PINK NIGHTMARE" together. I am also going to try out using the invisible thread in my top thread feed. Thank you again.

And thanks for the insight of the wonder under dots. As for hole punchers, I'll bet the scrapbooking area of a craft store would have some sort of punch that size.

I am so excited! I finished my small Halloween quilt and couldn't hardly wait to send you guys my picture. I love it and never thought I'd find a way to use these blocks. Here it is:
