Oh wow, Elly....these are gorgeous!! I love the crazy patch triangle....very creative.... A lot of work in these. Fantastic Quilting, too. Great job!

Elly: Great looking quilts!

I used some flannel stash in a receiving blanket and 2 burp cloths that will be part of a baby gift for a great niece tomorrow. Every little bit that goes out the door feels good.

I spent a few days cutting out 64 pillowcases for my friend's charity. Only 5 yards came from a recent purchase, the rest was all stash, so that was about 60 yards from the stash. Next time I plan to make kids pillowcases I will have to buy fabric because I used up all of what I had. I still have plenty of blenders for the border and flange, though. I never seem to run out of that.

Grann of 6 that's a lot of stash fabric used! How nice of you to make those for the charity and your friend.

Thanks, I have been doing this for my friend for about 5 years or more, first year I made 100. I may make more closer to Christmas, but it was a good project to start on when we had so much stormy weather and unable to use the sewing machine.

Everyone has been doing great on their quilts, love all the pictures. I am itching to start an Irish Chain like the one on the Irish Chain thread. I have a jelly roll of 30s repro that has been waiting for a project for it, and I think the Irish Chain is the one. I have backing and plenty of background whites to choose from.

Great job, gran...and lovely helping your friend for charity.

I went to my new LQS (actually 2 of them). I've been in Idaho 7 weeks now and this was the first trip. I had a couple colors I needed for a quilt I'm kitting up and have none in my stash. Even though they had some awesome stuff, I did not buy anything more....however, I stumbled a bit and purchased a FQ bundle on-line that just came out...I have a project picked for it but I messed up and offer my humbleness upon the alter of sacrifice.:(

Teen, you've been very good for a long time, so I think you should be forgiven. It's such a small stumble.

I've been getting rid of stash via 4 grand daughters. Gram has had a sweat shop going...3 machines, and 4 sewers. Tonight 4 Grands have 4 kid sized quilt tops sewn. One is on the LA ready to quilt. The quilting GD meander stitched on a my UFO Monday while the others were sewing. Will add some pictures later. I need to add up fabric usage...we are reducing stash for sure!

Love seeing all the great stash finishes and WIP's...thanks for sharing folks.

Teen, it's okay to falter! Could be tough tomorrow...ridiculous days in town tomorrow...fabric $4, $5, $6 per yard plus the regular sale fabric...Lots of cutting going on!
