Yesssssssssss ....... Remember, I told you that you could change the sizes and do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):)
Program is independent of your EQ you have .... but is set up EQish, from what I understand. So should not be a huge learning curve for you.

Anael .... a sweet block!!! :)
Although I have some bad news for you ... go four over and five down ... the block needs a 1/4 turn. Sorry, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I know you would want to know. (I think?) :(

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I thought there was something funny about the block but didn't see it. Don't know whether I have to thank you or not :D :D :D

I really like the bits of blue in the block Anael. Looks like it would have been a pain to put together. Will you leave the errant piece or change it?

I know ... I totally was hesitant in telling you, and hoped you would not shoot me. I know how difficult it is to take a PP block apart. The stitching does not come out easily. So I totally feel for you!

OKSGlad ... you might want to take a look at this thread. The 2nd post mentioned that QIAD usually has DJ for less than EQ. By the time you get there, there may be more info posted about it all .........

W4Me, I had a look at the block and to be honest I might just leave that piece like it is. It's hard to take this one apart and I had such a hard time putting it together even though it is PP........I will always know it's there but others might not see it ;)

Thanks QE..I have checked amazon and see that price would be comparable there too.

Has anyone seen this product? or had experience with it? Please do tell!
http://www.pellonprojects.com/produc...itch-dissolve/

Looks like it might be a good option for PPing ....

Anael ... in a whole quilt, it would not be as noticeable, as your eye does not just have the one block to focus on!

OKSGlad ... so have you pressed the button, to make it all YOURS?????????? :D

Anael 02-12-2015 10:04 AM

I never used it but read about it. Don't know if it's the same brand but opinions differ. Some say it doesn't dissolve and leaves behind lumps of that stuff. Others say they don't have a problem with it. Again, not sure which brand that was.

works4me 02-12-2015 11:00 AM

I'm glad you are leaving it Anael. I wasn't meaning to coax you into "fixing" it, just asking the question. :) To be honest, I didn't notice, until it was pointed out. In a full quilt of such intricate blocks, only you will see it. You, and that one person at a quilt show who picks everyone's quilts to bits yet has nothing showing themselves. :D

Are you joining us oksewglad?

QuiltE - I have no experience with Pellon dissolve. Sorry.

Re: Heavy Metal Jane - I have ordered another of the black with copper fabrics, this one with copper scribbles. It will probably take about two weeks to arrive by mail.
