Yep, I didn't have any green either and didn't want to go out to buy some. I thought the black would work since there was black in other fabrics in the quilt.

Here's my pumpkin. I need to get some rickrack so applique still needs sewing. I left the final border wide for final assembly so they won't be that wide..I just wanted to make sure I had enough fabric to play with. This pumpkin is a mini....these are 1" squares....
