My Juki is back home. It's working again......top tension was way too high, needle plate blurred, machine was serviced and I'm happy to be able to finish the GTSB.
My BFF was over here yesterday for coffee and saw GTSB. She fell in love with it the minute she saw it and told me to make her two pillow cases with blocks of this quilt. So I will do that once I finished quilting it.
She wants an appliqued block for one pillow and pieced blocks for the other pillow.

Yea!! Get that beauty done, Girl. Of course your BFF loved it...it's stunning as will be the pillows you create for her. Which blocks are you thinking of making for the pillows? I can think of a couple that would be cool pillows.

She already picked the blocks she likes. Will have to find the book for the names of the blocks. One appliqued with flowers, that's for sure.

I love the simple field of flowers applique blocks. I made a mini version (I decreased the size of templates) WH for a friend using one of those blocks because she like it so much. I need to make one for me but I like the idea of a rectangle pillow.. So cute...

They need to be 45 cm square so a flower block with strips on both top and bottom.
The other one will be completely pieced.

I just finished binding my Green Tea & Sweet Beans. Another UFO off the list. Now I need to make those two pillows.
