I don't want to be limited to only quilt patterns that can use the connecting strips so want to learn other variations which I'm sure Jenniky will cover as time goes by. I'm only posting this now to show that you can use different techniques to complete the quilt. Besides, I'm quite proud of this quilt since it's 95% made from scraps and not cut-down fabrics. The only fabric I had to buy was the border. |

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet. Isn't this the truth???????????!!!!!!!!!!! :) |

Here it is. A truly "orphaned" blocks challenge. I did make them into larger 16" blocks first by adding scraps around them, then trimming them wonky.
