So cute!!!!

I love Quiltville ad particularly her pineapple quilt - I made it huge in shabby chic florals and all my cream and white scraps - it is usually found on my bed now! Bento Box is also another favourite
Also,Scrappy Halves..like a string quilt is good for scraps if you don't want to cut out. Piece it directly onto wadding and backing and you can join them using QAYG! |
I have lots of scraps. Count me in

I don't understand the String quilt. Any help please.
Thank you in advance. |
I have made scrap quilts for over xx years. Still have a HUGE stash. The only time I buy yardage now is if I get too tired to keep going thru mine to find the color I need for Borders or backings.lol When I make a coordinated pattern It looks drab to me jolo

Marine Mom, a string quilt is using various widths of strips ,in the old days when I was learning, some asmall as an inch. If You want squares ,make and trim to size, diamond, etc. I have made them in rows the length of the quilt desired, put together with or without sashing. Long story for short question. This does not do it justice, but I have several an all my grand kids have claimed them. Need to make some more. jolo
