Scrappy quilts are my most favorite type to make! I've just finished a scrappy crumb quilt and will post a picture in the picture thread...I love this challenge and am working on several scrappy quilts! Bonnie Hunter's site has a ton of clever ideas for patterns!

I've even given my whole scrap basket away. Twice!! It multiplies in the dark, I swear it does!

This will motivate me to work harder to get this one done in time so I can (NOT) send it to k_juipiter for judging.

Yes, scraps multiply like rabbits or mice. Wish my money would take up that habit. 8-)

this is a great idea...I have never made a truly scrappy quilt, I have tons (literally) of scraps, so I think I will accept the challenge as well.

Tim, thanks for your generous offer! lol

I have already started on mine making 9 patchs-4 to a block for 16 patches & think I will use a frame & maybe on point so I can use from my larger stash of calico for blocks & the backing. Love you gals!

Did ya hear about poor katieranch? Buried under 3 tons of quilt scraps as she valiantly tried to make a scrappy quilt the size of New Jersey. If you are under there Katie, just run your serger until we can find you.

Wendy, I think I will take you up on that challenge. Have already started going thru all my fabric and sorting and ironing it out. Have several large plastic tubs already labeled! How big does it need to be?

What if I just take a picture of a TOP I already have finished and post? Talk about old time fabric... I can easily have it finished by end of summer....

Me again! I have found a shop close to me called Fabric and Foam. The price is below great and they do have some of the greatest fabric. First place I head for when I go there is the $1.00 per yard table. Fabulous fabric but has been there a bit and they want rid of it!

Just read this post & have already started going through my stashes, cutting into 5 1/2 " squares to to a disappearing nine patch, so count me in.
