Mary, did you ask the admin who deleted your thread... WHY? Or how she would prefer you to do it? Remember when I started this thread.... Givio had tried to start one first and hers was deleted with no explanation. I started one in BOW because it IS a BOW, and it soon got 'moved' to Challenges and Contests. It is neither a challenge or a contest. But we just lived with it. At least we had a place.
I would ask the Admin. what particular hoops you are supposed to jump through in order to post a sew-along chat thread. Let her know there's a BOW starting and people want a place to talk about it.

lawsonmugs, I suggest that you private message PatriceJ and ask her where you should list a BOW that you'd like to discuss with members on the Board. Maybe let her know that it's being offered for free like the previous BOW created by the same woman, and that Board members enjoyed sharing their progress on the previous BOW by the show of more than 1000 posts. I think PatriceJ has authority for giving correct info about posting threads. I suggest you also tell her who deleted your post, in case she might like to investigate that.
I have been discouraged when my threads were deleted after I had carefully read instructions and rules regarding where and what to post. Sorry to hear you had a problem too...

Love how yours turned out. I was PM'd that my thread was removed and told I need to read the rules to start a thread and ask Patrica first. Sorry ladies. I didn't know all that. I went to the one mentioned by givio and we could use that one it's still up,
