I like the light borders NZ!

kass- love Ringo's sister and her backing

Missgigglewings- congrats on getting it all together, those alternate blocks are very cool!

Like Jane Quilter, my ORL is now on the UFO pile, I've only got 10 more blocks to put together, so maybe it will get pulled out of the UFO pile and put into the WIP pile next month LOL!

Kass, that is wonderful. I love the windmills and the movement, and the backing couldn't be more perfect.

missgigglewings, congratulations on finishing your top! It looks very vibrant with the blue sashing. I was considering dark blue sashing for a while, so it's fun for me to see how this turned out.

Kass your quilt turned out great, those windmills were a wonderful addition to this quilt!
Missgigglewings, your blue sashing really makes your blocks pop!

Still need to get mine sandwiched and quilted, it's been on my list so hopefully pretty soon.

Some pretty finishes. I got mine quilted this last weekend, now for binding. It may be awhile. LOL

NZ Quilter- Thank you for the thoughts ~ life does move on, but it sure isn't easy. I'm sure many other ladies out there have walked this path too. I'm heading down to TX tomorrow to spend time with two of our children and a brand new grandson. Distractions are good.

Love all of the finished ORLs. Such creative patterns.

I'm still at the trimming stage of fg, and sewing step #3 together for borders. I plan to have top completed next month. I'll post pics net week.

Missgigglewings: Congratulations on getting your beautiful top done.

Carol: It does help to have distractions. Enjoy your trip and the new grandson.

Everyone is doing such a great job on their ORL quilts. I love the changes everyone is doing to make it their own, but I also like ORL Bonnie's way. I've been working on mine this week. I have about half of it assembled and quilted, but still haven't decided on borders.

Not Ringo, 97" square.
I made all the components everyone else did, but got sidetracked on my working wall
I made a lot of extra 9 patches, and a few extra geese is all.
Have a whole lot of the 5" diagonal bits left.

Now to the fun of completing the recycled shirt top for the other side!
I get up excited to quilt every single day.
