It is just beautiful, Christine! You've included some gorgeous fabrics. And the backing is terrific. That's something I'll have to keep in mind!. Congratulations.

Sewbizgirl it's beautiful, I love your border. Christine yours is beautiful as well. How did you get the backing on so straight? And it goes without saying that everyone that posted pics did a wonderful job. I have mine done, but posting pics is just beyond my abilities. Thanks everyone for sharing.

Thank you all for the kind words.. I had so much fabric left that I decided to piece the back with strips and then learned on a YouTube video showing how to pin a large quilt on a smaller table (vs on the floor) while making sure the layers are all centered and aligned using skewers taped to the table top. I also use a seam guide on my sewing bed with hopes to keep seam allowances somewhat straight. Even still - I was off a wee bit but that's a 'design choice' according to Angela Walters, right?

Thanks again for the nice feedback - I think we've all created our own beautiful versions of ORL and it's just so fun to see everyone's finished work! Hope we have more finishes to admire soon!

Christine

Sorry I couldn't get the You Tube link to work..
