2.5" squares? I may join in. Just finishing up a scrappy big quilt that used a lot of my blue 2.5"s, but I have lots of other colors. It makes so much more sense to have these in a quilt rather than stacks in a box!

Looking forward to pulling some bright fabrics out of my stash for this one. Just gotta decide on my background fabric.

I think I'm going to be in. I have so many scraps to use up. Once I get some instructions I'll spend an evening cutting 2 1/2" squares.

Our quilt blocks will be 10 1/2" unfinished & 10" finished, based on 2 1/2" squares.

In our main scrappy block, please pay attention to the 4 background squares! Makes a huge difference in the layout. In the above picture, it's the 4 white squares.

Here are the details for our background blocks. For each block, you need:
4 scrappy blocks in the corners.
From your background fabric:
one 6 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangle piece
two strips 2 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Sew according to the diagram.
