SBG, I do remember that yours was an I Spy...it will be such a fun quilt for a littler person, and I agree the kite suggestion was marvelous.

I ordered a Pounce Pad and chalk and might audition a couple of stencils for the center white spaces...I really need to practice feathers so thought maybe feather wreaths would look good, however, I think there are 31 or 32 white blocks...oh my!

Lots of good practice... LOL! I love feather wreaths. I think they would look awesome and really "class up" a scrappy quilt.

Tonight I took my quilt out of the dryer damp and smoothed it out on the carpet..... I used the Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable Markers (purple) to make a diagonal line, and then used my Serpentine stitch...All fabrics were pre-washed but the Hobbs 80/20 was not. I started with a 63 x 83 " top... once sandwiched and quilted and bound and washed it measures 61 ½ " x 81 ½ "....

That's lovely, Thimblebug! And the amount of shrinkage wasn't bad at all.
