I finished this 'Blue and Green Bricks' about a month ago. I did it specifically to use up some of my stash (I'm running out of storage space!). The back is completely out of my stash, too:

I still had so much left in my stash that I made a blue Turning Twenty:

The back of this is also pieced from my stash (but no pic).
Both of the bindings were from stash, also.

I save the tiniest of scraps - I can't stand to throw it out when it costs so much! But those scrap quilts will take so long to finish I won't be able to post here.

Nice job Cindy A. Love them. Blue is my favorite color.

So, Jillaine, you sure you want me to have fun here? My stash is dwindling a bit since I have been using them for finishing up quilts, but I do have stash/leftovers/scraps that are consuming my area. I will photo my "stash" bins and see if I should play with you. As you know I am working on those UFOs. I have a large stash/leftover of 30s fabrics that I am working thru right now to finish up another star log cabin and then I have 18 more blocks left that I need to use up the stash with and make something. May be another applique one or I may embroider on it, haven't decided, will be next month's decision. You let me know if you want me to play along or not, you know how OCD I am.

I think I know one of the projects I am going to do for this stash busting challenge, a wonky star nine patch. i have not done one of these and it will help rid myself of some of my squares, fat quarters and yardage that is there.

I'm in the midst of hand-quilting a king size quilt for my in laws so haven't made much progress on my stash busting this month. How's everyone else doing ?

I'd love to try this, but with getting the children back to school in a few weeks, it may take me a while to produce something. Once done, I'll just send a quick word as I still have no clue how to post pics on this newer site. Not sure if it's my computer that wont cooperate or the user's lack of knowledge/experience.

jillaine, I would like to follow along and play also. I too have one of those "stash" closets that is overflowing.

And QuilterMomma, nice to see you here! Yes, you may be OCD, but you help to keep us productive on the UFO Challenge thread. My hat goes off to you! Looking forward to "working" with you here.

Finishing the binding on my quilt posted earlier in this thread. I was checking and might have enough of those particular fabrics and I can add to them from my stash to actually make another one. I'll have to change the light border and I'll check through my stash, might have to change the black as well - or just buy enough for that. It was really an easy quilt to do and I wouldn't mind making another. Don't want to buy, if I don't have to.
