Oh my - the edge print looks like it has lavender in it - NOT! Honest - the print matches the rest of the quilt.
Those are light pink flowers with yellow centers with green dots. Funny how the computer reads colors sometimes.

The last few of my projects required a lot of HSTs and flying geese. I decided to sew a second seam on the leftover triangle before cutting so I ended up with a ton of small HSTs (<2"). When I needed a brain-dead moment, I sewed them into rows and then sewed the rows together. At first it was just a way to "grow" the bits into usable chunks but when I was done, I had a small quilt top. The backing has a row of flying geese and some striped fabric from my stash as well. It will go to the guild's community service bin.

I know I used that yellow rosebud, but don't think I have any left. Will double check but can't guarantee it.
Cute snuggly quilt Dfly nana.
Oh those HST's are just perfect. Love it.

Now I am busting someone elses stash!! My daughter's friend had a UFO started by her grandmother, she wants me to finish...a Quilt as you go log cabin...First step is to try to clean the stained blocks, and find out what size she wants and get it all figured out...The worse part I guess will be joining the squares...May make a few practice ones first.

Dragonfly Nana -- bodacious isn't a word I use often, but it definitely fits that fabric. It is definitely not one to put in any quilt.

Thanks to you and Oksewglad for looking for the rosebuds for me. I'm not surprised you both used them up. They are very useful and work well with so much. That's why I want to get some more, plus they're darling. I only had a few 2.5 inch squares and a fat quarter of a reproduction piece. Those got used very quickly.

Love the HST quilt. Amazing how fast that came together huh? Someone is going to love receiving that beauty.

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures of items I have made from my stash recently. The first one is made from a jelly roll that I started a couple years ago and set aside because I couldn't get them lined up correctly. The second is made from fat quarters, I believe it is Yellow Brick Road. The last one is called lily pads and again made from fat quarters. I did buy backing for all of them because I didn't feel like piecing together fabric. It is so fun using what I have.

Great quilts, Sophie2. Nice feeling to get them fun and done, too.
