Oh you tell him, he has to know that the color is what he thinks makes it busy because it doesn't blend it pops. My DH would have said the same thing. I love it and you did great in getting those pinwheels so pretty and the movement of the yellows makes them seem like they are spinning.

I think your quilt is very nice. Love the 'pop' of the yellow - and if your hubby still doesn't like it, I'll send you my address and I'll even pay the postage and you send it here!

I just finished one totally from stash.
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t224607.html

And another from PaintmeJudy's scrappy mystery
http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t224534.html I did purchase the binding for this one, but nothing else. The table runner was mostly stash, too.

Why haven't the stacks gone down????????

The stacks seem to grow!! I have made 2 twin quilts from my box of 5 inch squares. There is still a ton left! I really need to get into the yardage to make a good dent...HHHMMMMM..where is it all stuffed?

Very nice, Pat. I like the mix of florals and shirting plaids. I have many, many yards of that ruffled eyelet buried in one of my sewing rooms.

Little scraps finally get a use! I just made this fun cat toy for my friend as a gift for his first kitten! Just cut scraps into 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide strips, tie together with knots and braid! Put the whole thing on a stick (knobby sticks work well) or dowel that you've notched.

Kitty tested and approved! Disclaimer: not for kitty to use unsupervised!

I have one of those tied to the underside of my ironing board! Keeps kitty from trying to play with what is "dangling" when I iron.

My kitty also looks like yours - a tuxedo. They are such fun and playful cats.

Just started 50 Fabulous Paper Pieced Stars quilt - trying to get it completely from my stash. I think I can do it, with the exception of possibly having to buy more white for the background fabric. Here's a picture of my first block in progress - just need to sew the sections together.

I'm planning on doing this as a QAYG and maybe setting the stars on point.
