Default Finally pictures

Drastic change in my plans yesterday DH got off early and we ended up going out to dinner with a couple in our bubble and then cards. So no sewing or cleaning after 4 yesterday. I promised a picture, I took them yesterday and intending to post last night.

That's so pretty! I LOVE the colors! If you can do work of this quality with your room looking so much like mine, then you should NEVER clean up! Just take that right off your list and get to sewing.

You two talking about poly quilts reminded me that I have a UFO that needs to go to the head of the line after this weekend. My grandmother pieced a poly knit rail fence and sewed it to a sheet. The seams are falling apart, and I need to repair that quilt and back it with something nice - it reminds me of an Easter basket - clear and pastel shades of all colors - just beautiful and so spring-y! She did a great job with textured poly knits and K-mart 4/$1.00 spools of thread.

I haven’t been ( around) much in a while but I have been getting some stuff finished.
today I finished my 2020 temperature quilt- I didn’t do anything fancy in the quilting and found a couple booboos as I was quilting it. But, oh well- 2020 was quite a year, bound to have a goof or 2.
Plus it’s finished in time for my daughter’s birthday on the 29th and that’s the important part- she’s been ( checking on it) since last March.
the kitten Loves it! She checked out every inch- running, rolling, playing on it when I tried to get pictures. It’s Huge and I didn’t get great pictures
I also finished quilting a ( much smaller 45” x 54” quilt) today, only binding left.
My stack of ufos is getting smaller.

I love the flying geese block - it must have taken ages to make enough for a big quilt like this. Beautiful, fresh colors!

I like how you are using the different stripe prints between your strips of geese. I haven't ever tried that.

Another UFO and one more on the way - good going!

I have another UFO finished, the easy way. I was cleaning my sewing room today and decided to just toss a the Jean quilt I started 18 months ago for our church group.

oksewglad: Well, the quilts will be warm and will last for as long as someone wants them.

Dedemac: Very pretty! As far as your Jean quilt, sometimes, we need to let go!

ckcowl: Lucky daughter!

Finished another UFO. Probably won't get a picture, it's too large to stage it. It's a stack n wack with dark burgundy and surrounded by teal.
So that's 2 this weekend. Pat me on the back and say congratulations!
