I got the baby quilt done yesterday, 2 blocks done on Friday and 3 more blocks cut and ready to sew up. I have 15 blocks in all to complete by Feb. 4 then to mail off to their new homes. (Feb. 4 is my Independent BOM class that I have the goal of getting these blocks done-they are for the boom 6 and I need to get them done asap!) So, I'm trying to hurry and get them done but find some cute blocks to do.

Congrats on the business taking off, Miz Dixie. Hope you can take time for yourself.

It's so great that everyone is so inspired and inspiring. Keep up the good work.

I just got some more inspiratioin to complete UFO 'Tuxedo Cats' quilt. My sis wants it for her BD. (in Jan) She did say I could take extra time to finish it. It is started but has a LOT of little pieces. Wish me luck.

Have the beginnings of the finish (make sense?) on a UFO. I had started this rather large angel for my sister's birthday and didn't like the way it was coming out and put it away. It's supposed to look like a stained glass effect, but my spacing between pieces did not always stay small. Well, took it back out after I joined this group and have finished all the raw edge sewing. It got so wrinkled as I was sewing, now it need to be wet and ironed before I sandwich it and start the quilting. I'm posting this because it will give the the inspiration to actually get it done. I can sit and think about it alot without working on it. Hopefully, the picture will be posted soon.
Love the baby quilts, the owl and wolf was gorgeous (I love nature anything) and all the others posted.

Default My 1st competion for the year of 2012. The baby quilt for a friend. She picked it out

She wanted this quilt for her new to be born nephew. Same front and back material. I needed to have it done in a week. I think it turned out cute! Now on to my boomerang blocks to be all done by Feb 4. I've got 2 done, 3 almost done and others cut. So, it's progressing.

Good fortune sewing it up. You can get it done. Don't give yourself the extra if ya can help it, will let yourself slide then. At least that is what happens to me. We are pulling for you to finish it this month!

Hi Im Amanda - and I am a UFO addict! I like to start new things before finishing something else. Shame on me, I know. I currently have 12 on my list that need completed. Prior to joining this challenge. I did complete one UFO this month. Now I am going to pick another one from my list and see what I can do to finish it by the end of the month. Wish me luck! I'm going to need it.

AmandaS, yes, that is cute. I like it....the fabric says 'fun'. The name gives it that extra nice touch.

Welcome to the newest members of the 'FINISH YOUR UFO' club. LOL!
