I made this cake again but this time, it wasn't as moist. But still rich. Don't know why. Maybe weather affected it.

This is a great cake recipe. My dear late mother in law made it for all the birthdays in her family, with 7 minute icing on top- YUM!

We make this cake a lot as it is often requested. I enjoy making it in a bundt pan Delicious!

I like the idea of the bundt pan for this cake too.

I can vouch for this cake. I made it into a sheet cake on Monday. There is only the two of us and what remains is still very moist and just the perfect degree of chocolate. Also made the frosting suggested. Two thumbs up.

Good to hear. There's only us too, but it still didn't last very long. That's why I have to only make it occasionally. Wouldn't mind making it for easter but there's just too much going on to get ready for that anyway.

I made this cake this morning. The cake turned out rather "heavy", in between a brownie and a cake. Maybe it's supposed to be that way? Or maybe it's the humidity or something? It tastes okay, but the "heaviness" surprised me.

The frosting is exceptional! I think, next time, I'll use a different recipe for the cake, but the same frosting recipe.

Thanks for posting it!
