Default citrus & herb ribs

citrus ribs...2 large onions, 2 large lemons, 2 large oranges...fresh herbs of your choice, several sprigs...wash ribs then thinly slice the fruit and onions and place a layer on a foil lined pan.
Then place your ribs on top of those. I put garlic, salt and pepper on the top of the ribs, I then added the thinly sliced onions & fruit and herbs on the top.
Place a piece of foil on top and bring the bottom edges up to make a loosely sealed pouch.
Bake at 350 for about 3 hours, then remove the top foil and the stuff on top and continue to bake until they reach 175 temp. You can brush with BBQ sauce at this point if you want, but I don't....they were amazingly tender and wonderfully flavored!
