DH likes his noodles "al dente" and makes a face if they are too soft. So when I cook pasta of any kind I time it carefully. Also I like to have the water boiling when I put in the noodles. I don't think a crockpot gets to that temperature, does it? So I think the noodles would come out very soft and soggy. But maybe some people like them that way.

I think it ends up tasting too starchy and its really dry, my son made some and bought it over for me to try.

They liked the first one I made but the second one was too dry. I think it sits too long waiting. Even with the cp turned off it's still hot in there. I even thought of cooking it on "keep warm" but I was afraid of bacteria if it didn't get hot enough.
