We will be having breakfast to accommodate different obligations. Sour dough waffles, fruit salad, those cinnamon rolls/pull apart (recipe was recently on here by tranum, thank you!) and either the overnight egg casserole or quiche. Just saw a new recipe and if I can find it again that’s what I will do. Although I am tired and the casserole might just win out!!!! There are 14 of us including the grands! !! Can’t wait for the little ones to look for eggs. That is always Such fun!!!

My husband always liked to have orange jello with pineapple, shredded carrots, and celery. This yr I'm having ham, green bean casserole, Waldorf salad, layer lettuce salad, speghettios salad (Eagle Brand dressing) chips, and hash brown cheesy potatoes, another salad with homemade cranberry sauce and pineapple in cherry jello, and chicken dressing. Also pumpkin pie w Cool Whip and brownies (from mix for chocolate-lovers) Daughter is bringing deviled eggs and cheesecake. DIL is bringing snack tray. There will be 11 of us. My husband died in the last year and I don't cook for myself, so I'm counting on lotsa left-overs! LOL.
Happy Easter to everyone.

Some days I think I am one of the few people who really do not like ham.

It is just my son and I for Easter, which is just fine be me. We will have prime rib roast, spuds, asparagus and probably the last of the spaghetti squash. Dessert will be chocolate Pavlova. My step mum used to make Pavlova for my son, we have not seen her in 3 years and he has missed it. I found a recipe to try.

We will cook together and set a nice table.

Usually we would have lamb, but we are having lamb burgers for dinner tonight.

Well, we were going to roast the duck my SIL bought for the occasion, but he now has to work, so duck another day and we are going to stuff and bake Cornish game hens, Brussels sprouts, avocado citrus salad, and hopefully scalloped potatoes (depends if I can figure out how to co ordinate baking them and the hens).

(No, you are not alone. The only way I will eat ham is in a pot of beans.) way too salty otherwise.

Oh, my! That sounds delicious! It's just me and my DH this year, so nothing special is planned.

My daughter and her DH bought us a "Ninja Cooking System" several years ago. It's become our go-to oven, slow cooker, steamer, and so on. When she gave it to us, I thought that we would never use it, but I was wrong.

Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing your ideas for Easter dinner. I ended up serving Ham; Twice-baked potato casserole; Minted Sugar Snap Peas; Greens Salad with Blueberries, Feta, Balsamic Dressing; Fresh Vegie Tray (with salt cellars, a throwback to yester year); Deviled Eggs; Hawaiian Rolls; and Coconut Cream and Chocolate Cream pies. One of our daughters was here and one of her daughters. They helped prepare. It was freezing cold on Sunday!! Have a blessed spring (if it ever gets here!).
