1 cut up chicken
1 env. onion soup mix
2 cups raw rice (not pre-cooked)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 c water

Place raw chicken pieces in the bottom of your roaster or casserole. Sprinkle with dry onion soup mix. Over this pour2 c. rice, set aside. Mix 2 cans cream of chicken soup with 2 cups water. Pour this over the chicken-rice in roaster. Cover tightly and place in 375 degree oven for one hour. DO not lift lid!!!
Whenr eady if it seems a pinch dry add some boiling water over it and let set, covered, for ten minutes. This doesn't happen often though, comes out really moist.

Looks like a good crock pot recipe so you don't heat up the kitchen too! Thanks! I love a good casserole!

No Peek Chicken, Thank You. I had this recipe several years ago and lost it. It is so good. Glad I finally found it.
