Saw this on TV yesterday and tried it last night.

Use white bread.

Use 2 slices of white bread.

Cut a round disk from each slice as large as you can get it.

Make an indentation in the middle of one slice, being careful to leave enough space for crimping edges.

Fill indentation with 1 tsp peacut better and 1 tsp jelly (anykind without seeds)

Place second slice atop the one with the filling.

Crimp edges of the stack, then fry.

Spray the bottom of skillet with vegetable spray or use non-stick skillet. Place crimped sandwich in skillet until the first side brown, then turn and brown the other side.

Remove from skillet and let cool before attempting to eat.

Makes a nice snack.

These are exactly what you get when you buy "Uncrustables" by Smuckers. I love them, and buy them often. This will save me some $$$.
Thanks,

If you make them yourself you also can save the crusts to make bread crumbs.
