This is one of the easiest ice cream desserts and the presentation is exceptional!

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
19 ice cream sandwiches
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 cup salted peanuts

Directions

Pour the chocolate syrup into a medium microwave safe bowl and microwave 2 minutes on high. Do not allow to boil. Stir peanut butter into hot chocolate until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with a layer of ice cream sandwiches. Spread half the chocolate mixture over the sandwiches. Spoon half the whipped topping over that. Top with half the peanuts. Repeat layers. Freeze until firm, 1 hour. Cut into squares to serve.


p.s. **If you want to make a smaller portion, if you use an 8x8-inch pan, you will only need 11 ice cream sandwiches. I would then use only 3/4 can of chocolate syrup and 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Adjust the portion of peanuts to desire as well as the cool whip. Enjoy!! :D :D

It is the best and easily adapts to variations. We put a layer of caramel over hot fudge topping instead of choc syrup with peanut butter. Soooooo good.

Zero for now, but after the first of the year, you'll be taxed heavily!! uh, oh....so better try it before year's end!!!
