I drain mine by squeezing the top down and drain it into the kitties bowl. They love me on those days LOL :D

Squish it down in the can over the cat 'goodie' bowls. My cats know the sound of those cans opening. I get a 'snuggie fest' around my ankles, and a race to the cat perch.

The can opener is their cue. They're waiting for their turn. They get the juice and the can when it's "mostly" empty. ;)

I dump mine in a colander, rinse well with water as I don't like fishy smell or taste, and then squish excess water out by hand. I also rinse out my cans with water before I place them in the trash.

mine too! It's gotten so bad that every time we get the can opener out, my cat comes running and watches me, even if it's not tuna! but we have a do dad for the little cans, but for larger cans, make sure you wipe off the top first then just press it down

I squish the lid too, but the tuna lately is so fine, a lot gets out and down the drain - - hate to lose any, maybe the strainer is the better idea for me.
