    Default Multiple layer cookie torte from Southern Living Recipe

    Back in the 1980's, I think, I found a receipt for a torte that was 12 or 14 layers of a thin sugar cookie that was backed individually on parchment paper. The filling was whipped cream and something, maybe chocolate. If this rings a bell with any of you I would really appreciate your help in reinventing this torte. My family loved it and I made it for special occasions for many years, but somehow lost the recipe. Every year my youngest daughter requests this for her birthday.

    No idea of the recipe but what you are describing sounds like something I had gotten from Swiss Colony company called Dobosh Torte
