Default macaroni sald

Do you have a favorite recipe to share?
When I make mine I like it but it doesn't seem to entice folks to try it.
Meant to say salad.

What does yours have in it? I tend to like the ones with fruit, veggies and/or nuts. If it looks really bland, then I pass it by.

I make Mostacalli Salad
It is just the Mostacalli Pasta with Veggies and an Oil and Vinegar Dressing.
There really is a recipe which I will send if anyone wants it.

I think people just don't eat macaroni or pasta salad all that much. When I catered, it was often ordered, but there was always a lot of left overs.

I put eggs, olives. celery, mayo, bacon bits, cheese, pickles, peas and green onions and mustard.
I've seen some recipes that say to add vinegar. I don't always use all of the ingredients listed above, just wanted to list everything I could think of.

i make a chicken (or turkey) salad that seems to go over well.

cooked ring macaroni
diced mild onion
finely diced celery
cooked chicken or turkey, cut up intp bite size or smaller pieces
craisins ( dried cranberries)
Hellman's "real" mayonnnaise (or your favorite dressing of that type)
salt and pepper "to taste"

i like cashews or almonds with it, but usually serve them "beside" as an optional ingredient.

i did not give measurements, because it is flexible - depending on what is available to put in it.he

Yes this! I think cold salads with noodles are not as popular as they used to be.

When I make mac salad, either for ourselves or potlucks, there's VERY rarely any left to take home, the members of our church say my mac salad is the best they've ever had.

Macaroni salad is my favorite, almost any style, but have to limit it to keep my glucose number in check.
