On a similar note, I have found that adding 1/3 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip to the Jiffy cornbread mix (without taking away or changing any other ingredient) makes a world of difference in the finished cornbread! Great to serve with chile and soups this time of year.

How do I save this entry for a later reference? I see two things I want to try sometime and won't remember the recipes when I do decide to make some biscuits or corn bread--a not very often occasion (spell?) at this house....

Oh yum.. I think these biscuits sound wonderful.. and so easy.. I usually have all the ingredients in the house... I'm going to try them soon..

oh.. I mix one box of Jiffy Cornbread with one box of Jiffy yellow cake mix.. add all the stuff from both packages, bake in a 9 X 13 pan.. and you have the most tender sweet cornbread ever.. Love that Jiffy!
