This is the reason for my distraction and insanity the last few weeks. The bride's cake was butter cake with buttercream icing. Each tier was filled with a different filling. Anniversary piece was fudge filled; next tier was raspberry; next, was lemon; and the last was pineapple (a favorite in the south). The groom's cake was marble cake with chocolate buttercream; filling was chocolate Bavarian cream; fresh strawberries were dipped in chocolate.

Both bride and groom were my former first grade students. The groom is my grandson.
