Default Must Have Side Dish For Thanksgiving

What is the one side dish that you cannot do without on Thanksgiving. Besides Turkey, stuffing, ham, potatoes and that green bean casserole!!! I'm cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the first time in years!!!

I saw a recipe on allrecipes.com called almond cranberry squash bake. I will be making this. Sounds scrumptious. I always make creamed onions.

I have a wonderful recipe for a vegetable casserole with a Ritz Cracker topping that has become a favorite with my family. It is easy, nutritious and very good!

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/e...ipe/index.html is excellent and has been used by us now for several years.

A fancy thing we do is wrap 2 fresh asparagus spears in a piece of bacon and cook in a skillet on med/low or grill on a low heat until bacon is crisp and asparagus is cooked tender, they are so yummy!
