Default Need a pulled pork recipe

I have a pork loin about 3 lbs. and want to make pulled pork in the oven NOT in a crock pot.

Anyone have a simple recipe without tons of ingredients?

Not bar-b-que and not too sweet.

Thanks for any info.

Roasting Pan
Roast
Smother in Sauce that is to your taste.

Bake in slow oven for a long time.

Remove and shred to make the pulled pork.

One more ingredient that I would add to the mix .... lots of sliced onions.
They'll add some sweetness and if you use a BBQ sauce, it'll might temper it away from the BBQ to the not-too-sweet that you want.

I have made some of the absolute best (Comcast Guys Tested and Approved ) both in the crockpot and in the oven.. My recipe for oven starts out on the stove top.. I cover the pork roast in my favorite seasonings (Webbers Roasted Garlic Seasoning) & fill the rest of the way with water I put quit a bit of seasoning because the water will dilute the flavor . Bring to a boil then reduce heat and cook for a couple of hours until its falling apart tender. Then I remove it from the pan and shred it and place in a large bake dish and cover with my favorite bbq sauce (Sweet Baby Rays) and cover and bake for about an hour removing the cover about 25 min before its done so it lightly caramelizes the outside.. Serve on Garlic Toast with Home made cole slaw.. MMMMmmmmmm It is soo tasty... Has great flavor and makes the house smell wonderful...

I trim the fat from my loin. Spray the pan with Pam. After salt and pepper and garlic powder, I pour in a can of Root beer, cover tightly with foil, and bake at very low temp. (250) for 5 or 6 hours. Remove from oven, drain off root beer, shred with fork, add your favorite BBQ Sauce, cover tightly with foil, put back in the oven for another hour. Serve on Kaiser Buns

This is the best ever..... http://www.vitacost.com/red-fork-sea...ky-pulled-pork I made it in the crockpot and I don't remember if it can be done in the oven. I took it to work and everyone raved about it and from that point on requested that I bring it to other food days at work. No bbq sauce needed, but I put bbq sauce on the side for people to put on themselves. Not too many stores carry it, but can be bought on-line. You just reminded me that I need to place an order for some. It makes a lot and you can double the meat and still get the same great taste.

I just realized the directions are there and it is done in the oven, but the crockpot works well too.

I usually toss mine in the crock pot but you can do it in the oven too. Pork, apple juice, onion and seasoning salt, I use Country Bobs. Sometimes I add peeled, cored and chopped apples to the mix. Cook til meat falls apart - then drain extra juice and add your favorite BBQ sauce!
