    Default Pistachio Bread

This looks nice on a plate of Christmas cookies, but works for St Patrick’s Day too.

1 white cake mix (sift into mixing bowl)
    1/2 cup oil
    1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar (I use less)
    4 eggs
1/2 tsp. green food color (I use less)
1/2 cup marachino cherries, chopped (optional)
Mix well. Put 1/4 of the batter in each of 2 greased loaf (bread) pans. Mix 4 tsp cinnamon with 3 tsp sugar & sprinkle 1/4 of mixture over each batter then divide remaining batter between the 2 pans & add remaining cinnamon mixture on top. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees 45 to 55 minutes. Test with toothpick. Let cool 10 minutes then tip out of pan.

😂Ha ha, the colour pistachio not the nuts! Sounds like it’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day but without the cherries for me.

    Default Pistachio Bread Recipe

I have two questions: 1) What kind of oil? (I am assuming vegetable oil) 2) What size package of pistachio instant pudding mix?
    Thank you .

    * the recipe just says oil so I’ve always used vegetable oil (canola, whatever)
    * and recipe doesn’t give size of pudding but my store just carries small (4 serving) size.
