I made this the other day. It was on a recipe card put out by our local store, Schnucks. It is wonderful with french vanilla ice cream. Reminds me of an ice cream sandwich. Yummy!

Thanks I have been looking for this a long time. A lady I used to live next door to over twenty years ago used to make me red velvet cakes with mayo in it. It was the best red velvet cake I ever had. I should have no problem converting this to red velvet.
