I wouldn't think there would be a difference. I'm going to try it with gluten free flour.

Thanks for all the great recipes for the starter! I'm going to get mine going this week.

I am anxious to try these recipes. I just have one question ... how do you wait TEN days before you can bake it?? I really must learn patience. Thanks so much.

Is there a print function that you know of or do I just copy from your post and past it into Word on my hard drive? Thank-you again.

dsb38327~~Were you able to get your copy? PM me if you need assistance.

Glad to hear that it can be frozen. I would have thought freezing would kill the" starter".

For you to get started…..
In large Ziplock bag add; 1/3 C milk, 1/3 C flour, and 1/3 C sugar. Mush bag until mixed.

Amish Freindship Bread

I used to make a SWEET Amish Bread recipe. This turns more into a sourdough. The one I had tasted like really light yeast rolls, but SWEET... I've tried making several starters that I have found on the internet, but it just didn't taste the same. Anyone on here have one similar to this but you add mashed potato flakes, sugar, and I can't remember what else....
