I've got to try these.......I know it's easier to just make a single pie but these just look too good to pass up. I like a little apple with my pie crusts.

This looks so good. I just have to try this today. I have two apple trees that are just loaded. I could never make pie crust until I found this wesson oil crust. It was for apple pie. It is so easy to make I use it for everything. Here it is if any one would like to try it.

Wesson oil pie crust

1 1/2 cups flour
1 tesp. salt
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup wesson oil

Put the flour in first
then salt
the the wet ing.

Stir until it forms a ball, cut the ball in half you have a two crust pie shells
the seceret is to roll this between two pieces of wax paper. The frst time is a little trickey to get it off the paper but once you practice it is so easy and very good. once it is rolled out just pick up the bottom paper that the crust is on and lay paper and crust on pie pan then carefully take your fingers and pull the crust loose a little at a time,if making these small pies I would cut dough in half then fourths may just have to use your judgement as to how much. You might even half the fourth. Also this recipe came from the Unity Villige Cook book and My frind has my book,I haven't used the recipe for a while so I am not sure about the amount of salt. It might be a half of teas.instead of teaspoon. Sorry I plan to make it today,so I will let you know if a whole teasp. is too much.
