Just made her meatballs last night. OH SO TASTY! :) I have some apples at home, I think I will try this.

Not for someone on a diet that is for sure. Looks yummy though. Might just have to try it.

Little bites for us that are dieting.. and the rest to work to be gobbled up. :)

For years I made dh old-fashioned apple dumplings using a whole apple. I always had trouble with the cruse coming apart. I think I am going to make these. They look a lot easier so maybe I will make them more often. Thanks for sharing.patti

Some of the best recipes I have seen! You have done it again, Crafty Bear! Thank you so much!

These look delicious and low calorie because it only takes two granny smith apples.

it is extremely sweet, but oh, so good. I made a takeoff of this with fresh peaches and poured heavy cream over it instead of mountain dew. i took this to a church supper. every one was asking "what is this?" It is so good. very fattening!

PATTIESPEARL 09-27-2011 04:25 AM

I don't think this can be low calorie because of the rolls and the amount of sugar?

I have made these with fresh peaches also. Love them. I substitute the sugar with Stevia to take some of the guilt away, then add a scoop of icecream haha. Delish!
