You are all starving me! Bread is my favorite food, but I am trying to lose a little weight. I will try this recipe as my reward when I get down a few pounds. Thanks.

Yum! Will have to go and get some fresh yeast...mine has gone out of code. That happens to me pretty often. I get to making it often and then stop.

My Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer also does a great job mixing and kneading bread and the recipe book that goes with it has several outstanding bread recipes.

Lucky you!! I've had 3 different brands of bread machines and haven't gotten a decent loaf from any of them.

Just dusted off my bread machine and today made a loaf of whole wheat bread. Much better than store bought. Thanks for your recipe.

Keep your yeast in the freezer. It will last for years. I buy yeast in the bulk packages at Sam's Club and keep it in the freezer. I'm using yeast that has been in the freezer for over 2 years. Don't bake in your bread machine. Let the machine do the mixing and first kneading. Take the dough out an put in a covered oiled bowl and let rise in warm place. Punch down and knead a little in the bowl, pinch off dough and shape into rolls. Place on baking sheet, cover and let rise and then bake. It only takes a few minutes of hands on work if you let the machine do the big job.
