Thanks! I was wondering what I was going to do with the extra candy canes.

Thanks, CraftyBear! I have a lot of leftover candy canes.
What a great idea to use them up.

When we taught we made these only differently. We left the candy canes (shring wrap type) in the wrappers, glued them together with a cool glue gun, and stuck a bow on them with the glue gun. We were always searching for candy canes after Christmas in the clearance section. Happy Valentines Day to our kids in class!!!! I had to look for bargains because I always spent too much on my class.

Yes, will be fun to make them as my mom gave me a bag of candy canes and I still have some.

I wonder....let them cool...put in freezer on cookie sheet to let candy and cookie sheet get really cold. Melt chocolate and dip the lollipops, return to frozen cookie sheet and put back in freezer until hard...I bet that would be good. Ilove mint and chocolate lol

You can also lay the candy canes out on the cooky sheet & pour melted white almond bark in them & sprinkle crushed peppermint on them. Let cool till set. Bet you could still put a stick in them too. Have made them for christmas boxes for several years.

You can also make them just like the tute and put the melted chocolate, white, red or pink in the middle, let them cool, or harden and they will be really nice. That is the way I am making them here on the 14th.
