Choc. Phil. Cream cheese.

I picked up a special edition 3 pack of Chocolate Philedelphia cream cheese today. I am going to do a choc. Cheese cake for Sunday family get together. It was only $3.97 for 3 bricks at Walmart! Has anyone tried this new flavor for cheese cake? I will update after Sunday to let you all know how it turns out.

CHOCOLATE cream cheese??? Wow, need to check that out! Sounds yummy!

That is interesting to now have flavors, might have to check it out as the price if perfect.
Thanks for the heads up.

I haven't used the chocolate cream cheese but I do make a marbled cheese cake. Everyone loves it! I make regular vanilla cheesecake and mix some cocoa into a small portion. Then kind of plop it on and swirl. Really good. I also find that chocolate graham crackers really intensify the flavor. Let us know how it comes out. Sounds really good, haven't seen it in stores.

After cooling 2 hours in the open oven it is as good as it's going to get. I will let you know how it tastes tomorrow. I had it in a water bath too but it still cracked during cooking. I don't know if it is due to the choc. Cream cheese or not. My family won't care if it's cracked as long as it tastes good.:)

That sure looks good. I have to try it.

Spread some chocolate whipped cream on top and it will hide the cracks. Looks yummy.

I have had the Philly chocolate cream cheese in the small tubs. Man was it ever tasty on graham crackers. Can't find it in my area anymore. Not sure why that is. Maybe it's a good thing!

Well the verdict is ....it was delicious! Rich and creamy but not too chocolatey. (sp)I just used a regular cheese cake recipe but substituted the 3 regular cream cheese for 3 choc ones.

Sounds way too yummy. I might try this later this week. Thanks for the heads up as I've not noticed this in my local stores.
